Me starting vow of silence is taking that “being ready is a myth” quote I saw on Pinterest seriously. A blog is something I’ve wanted to do for a very long time, but my fear of perception and acknowledgement held me back. To make this easier on myself, I’m giving myself no guidelines, no niche, and no schedule. Just getting my voice out there… anonymously, of course. Expect nothing but me. The me that hopefully you will get to know through my writing. Until then, though, I’ll do the most dreaded action in the workplace–giving you three facts about myself.
- I was one of the very last people to see Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris before it burned in 2019. The last photo I have of the cathedral was just two hours before the first alarm happened.
- In the fourth grade, I passed my then-crush, the forbidden “Do you like me? Circle yes or no,” to which he circled the latter and ignited my bad luck with men.
- Once, I made one of those YouTube lyric videos of the 2010s to DJ Khaled/Rihanna/Bryson Tiller’s Wild Thoughts.
